Matthew 9:23-25 NLT When Jesus arrived at the official’s home, He saw the noisy crowd and heard the funeral music. “Get out!” He told them. “The girl isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.” But the crowd laughed at Him. After the crowd was put outside, however, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she stood up!
When people didn’t believe Jesus due to their unbelief, He kicked them out. Once all the unbelief was out of the house, He then was able to raise the girl up.
This year, you may have big desires and dreams you want to see manifest. It’s difficult to maintain your faith in God’s word when you’re surrounded by unbelief. If people say it can’t be done, it’s impossible, or don’t get your hopes up, figuratively or literally, kick them out. It could be your mom, a friend, a child, or a spouse. Kick them out. Kick them out of your mind by minimizing contact with them or don’t mention your dreams to them. If they’ve got unbelief, kick them out.
It may seem harsh, but in order to maintain your faith and keep doubt and unbelief away, kick them out.
