When we’re waiting on our prayers to manifest, there’s a temptation to feel stuck. We don’t want to forfeit our promise, but we can’t move forward. Like a prisoner, we have nothing else to do and nowhere to go.

During these immobile moments, the best thing we can do is praise God. Praise God for being faithful. Praise God for answering former prayers. Praise God in advance for exceeding our expectations (Eph. 3:20). Praise Him for the grace and patience to endure.

We may not know when or how our prayers will manifest and we’ve done all we naturally know to do (pray in faith, confessed, and sowed a seed). When you can’t think of anything else, praise God until it comes to pass.

‭Acts 16:25-26 KJV‬ And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.
