Luke 16:9 NLT‬‬ Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home.

The possessions and finances we obtain are not just for us. What we have should be used to benefit others.

That extra car we’re not really driving can be a good car for your teenage nephew. That extra $100 we really don’t need could be grocery money for that single mother. That leftover food we have from our birthday cookout can be a meal for the poor.

God should have access to everything we have because if it wasn’t for Him, we wouldn’t have it in the first place. If He tells us to give it up, let’s honor Him and obey. From the beginning, it’s always been God’s plan for believers to be a blessing to others (Gen. 12:2). So, remember that in your pursuit of prosperity.
