Psalms 77:10-11 NLT And I said, “This is my fate; the Most High has turned his hand against me.” But then I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago.

There may be times we feel like God has turned his back on us. We may feel like He’s not hearing our prayers, our cries for help, or see us in our problematic predicament. These feelings and thoughts are lies from the enemy.

Instead of allowing our minds to marinate in his lies, we must reflect on God’s goodness. We must bring ourselves to a place where we remember all the good things He’s done in our lives. This won’t happen automatically. We must do the work to flush out all the negative thoughts and recall on the goodness of God.

Recalling the goodness of God will keep our faith strong to continue to believe that if He’s done it before, He can do it again.
