Proverbs 3:6 GNBUK Remember the LORD in everything you do, and he will show you the right way.
Prioritizing God above everything else is more beneficial to us than Him. He doesn’t need us to pray, study His word, or worship Him to still be God. He’ll still be God even if we don’t do any of those things. But, our participation in maintaining a good relationship with Him will significantly benefit us.
Prioritizing God will remind us how much He loves and cares for us when we’re facing difficult times. It will remind us of His promises when it doesn’t seem like they will come to pass in the natural. Prioritizing God allows Him to communicate and reveal things to us. Prioritizing God will maintain our joy during sad times.
Prioritizing God may feel like a chore to our flesh, but it’s highly beneficial to our spirits. And what benefits our spirits will positively impact our lives.
