Daniel 9:9 NLT But the Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against Him.
Our rebellion doesn’t stop God from being Himself. He’s not like man, where He removes His benefits based on our behavior. Regardless of what we do, He still loves us, cares for us, protects us, and provides for us.
Our rebellion may put us out of position to receive from God. Our rebellion may distract us from hearing His voice, and it has natural consequences. But despite our behavior, we’ve all experienced His grace and mercy where we received a blessing that we don’t deserve. These undeserved blessings are meant for our repentance (Romans 2:4).
Why continue to rebel against someone who’s so good to us? Receive His love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness and live to honor Him.
