Psalms 48:9 NLT O God, we meditate on your unfailing love as we worship in your Temple.
Life be lifing. Life can deceive us into thinking no one cares about us, God’s not hearing our prayers, and life isn’t going to get any better.
When these negative thoughts come, we need to meditate on God’s love. Start with salvation. Think about how God loved us enough to send His Son to take our place. Think about how Jesus saved us from hell and ultimate separation from the Father. Meditate on Jesus making us righteous, holy, and getting whipped to make us healed.
Meditate on personal victories God loved us enough to have. Think about all the many blessings He loved us enough to give us. Meditate on the love He shows us through our family and friends.
Instead of sinking down into depression, concentrate on His love and continue to meditate on it forever.
