Psalms 2:10 NLT Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth!
For us, in the New Covenant, when we make Jesus our Lord and Savior, we become kings and priests (Rev. 1:6).
As kings, we’re instructed to act wisely. How do we act wisely? Proverbs 9:10 says reverential fear is the beginning of wisdom. When we honor, respect, and trust God, we’re operating in wisdom. This wisdom helps us make wise decisions in our finances, in our marriages, in our parenting, and in our careers. We’ll receive supernatural wisdom in areas where we don’t have formal education.
There will always be temptations for us to act unwise, but the fear of the Lord keeps our wisdom sound.
