When thoughts, ideas and suggestions that are contrary to God’s word enter our minds, we must reject them. We can’t entertain or dwell on those ideas. We must immediately reject them. If we don’t, we could end up acting on those ideas.
That’s why it’s so important to know God’s word, that way, we know what to reject.
We can’t control what enters our minds, but we can control what stays there. Reject anything contrary to God’s word or God’s way and replace it with things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise (Phil. 4:8).
