Psalms 129:2 NLT From my earliest youth my enemies have persecuted me, but they have never defeated me.
Attacks against health, our character, our finances, and our families may come, but as we believe in God’s word, they will not defeat us.
As long as we trust in what God says about us, we won’t be defeated. However, if we only look at our circumstances and situations naturally, we may suffer some defeats. If we see low finances in our account and conclude we’re broke, we’ll be defeated in our finances. If we see problems in our marriage and conclude, this may not work, our marriage may suffer a defeat.
Hold on to what God said about your life and you won’t be defeated. Attacks will come, but our counterattack is maintaining our belief in the word of God.
