Psalms 135:14 NLT For the Lord will give justice to His people and have compassion on His servants.

When things are unjust, we don’t have to fight those battles. God will give justice to His people. Anyone who has made Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior has been adopted into the family of God (Ephesians 1:5). And by default, we become His people.

So, if we were laid off from our jobs without a cause, if we were wrongly convicted of a crime, or if we experienced racism or sexism, God promised us justice. If we were mistreated by our ex-spouse, if our character was drugged through the mud by a former friend, or if we were deceived by an ex-business partner, God promises us justice.

Under grace, God’s form of justice may not be the way our flesh wants. He’s not striking them down with leprosy or sending plagues to their houses. Instead, He’ll let those who mistreated us live long enough to see God bless us (Psalms 23:5). He’ll make what the enemy meant for evil work for our good (Genesis 50:20; Roman 8:28).

Let’s give our cares to God and let Him fight for us because He is the One who provides justice.
