Proverbs 19:17 If you help the poor, you are lending to the LORD–and he will repay you!
If God instructs you to help the poor in any way; do it. Don’t allow logic or reason to get in the way of obedience. Yes, some of the poor may do deceitful things with the money we give them and some are possibly scamming the public but, let God handle their dishonest ways. For the poor who are dishonest, showing the love of God may convict them to change their ways. Just know, if we’re obedient to the Spirit of God, He will repay us.

Daniel 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered King Nebuchadnezzar, “Your threat means nothing to us. 17 If you throw us in the fire, the God we serve can rescue us from your roaring furnace and anything else you might cook up, O king. 18 But even if he doesn’t, it wouldn’t make a bit of difference, O king. We still wouldn’t serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up.”
Faith is confidence in God. While we must strive to maintain our confidence in God, faith can fail (Luke 22:32).
Trust is commitment to God. That means we make a continual choice to serve God.
So, while our faith believes that God is able and will do the impossible (Matt 19:26), our trust says that even if He does not, I will still serve God.
The Bible says as a man thinks in his heart so is he. How do you feel about yourself? Do you believe you are blessed? Do you believe that you’re prosperous, do you believe you’re healed, do you believe you’re an over comer???
Do you believe you’re fearlessly and wonderfully made? Do you believe you’re beautiful or handsome?
However you think about yourself is what you will ultimately become. Change the way you think about yourself by reading the word of God to see how God thinks about you.
If God sees you blessed, prosperous, healed, victorious, wonderful, beautiful, and handsome; shouldn’t you?
Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, said he to you; but his heart is not with you.
Scripture of the Day: Not Condemnation But, Forgiveness
1 John 3:21, 22 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God
and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him.
If the devil can magnify every negative thing we do to attempt to make us feel bad about ourselves, he has us under condemnation. Through the blood of Jesus we have forgiveness or all our sins. By having this knowledge, we can boldly or confidently ask God for our needs and desire without feeling guilty about our past sins. Utilize the forgiveness Jesus so graciously gave to us on Calvary.

Deuteronomy 6:5 And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.
Love. The reason why we try to be holy is not religious nor prideful, but out of love. When faced with a situation we seek to remember God’s Word so that we respond in a manner that pleases God, because our core motive should be our love for God.
Many times, we move into a mode of self-preservation, seeking to satisfy, avenge, or appease our flesh. When we operate that way, we allow fear in, because we have undermined His ability to provide our needs and desires (Eph 3:20), get vengeance (Heb 10:30), and operate in His strength (Phil 4:13). So, we study His Word, so that we can recall how to (and choose to) operate in love and obedience to Him.
Be more in love with God than any other being or thing!
John 14:21 He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Daniel 6:19-21 19At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. 20When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?”
21Daniel answered, “O king, live forever!
Daniel was locked in the lion’s den to be killed by lions under the orders of King Darius. When King Darius sarcastically asked Daniel has his God rescued him from the lions, Daniel answered saying, “O king, live forever!”
Notice, Daniel was not upset, angry, or bothered by the actions of the king. Daniel knew who his God was and he had nothing but, love and forgiveness for King Darius.
Whenever we’re in a situation where we have to forgive someone who has wronged us, know the mindset of the God we serve. God’s command us to forgive and love our enemies. Just do it. We may not feel like it or feel that it’s necessary but, since God commands it, just do it and we’ll be blessed for our obedience.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new
Galatians 6:15 It doesn’t matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation.
We have received the opportunity to be a new creature, but that does not mean that old desires or temptations won’t arise. Our role in being new is to be in Christ. We have a choice to be transformed. That means we make continuous decisions to operate as He would. So, when situations arise we choose to be in Christ, taking on our transformed nature.
John 12:32 But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.”
Lift Jesus up everywhere you go. In your home, at work, in your schools, everywhere. When we sponsor, represent, and promote Jesus, His name alone will bless others around us. It will cause the unsaved to become saved. It will cause backsliders to repent and turn from their wicked ways for good. Jesus’ name still and forever will have power. Promote Jesus and lift His name up.

Roman 12:21 Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.
Sometimes we focus so much on what we are not supposed to do, that our thoughts continue to dwell there, and we end up doing just that. Then, we repent, and try so hard not to do those things and end up falling again.
But, if we instead work on doing good things, then our thoughts will be on those good things. When we get so focused on doing good, then we, by default, no longer do the bad things. So, let’s focus on reading the Word, speaking with God, hearing God’s Word, and serving others with a God-like love.
Romans 8:5 Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit

Habakkuk 2:2 says Then the LORD replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.
Whatever vision God has given to you or whatever desire you have, write it down and confess it on a daily basis.
There are three things to consider before confessing your vision.
1. Be sure your vision is in line with God’s word.
2. Be sure it’s a vision/desire God has given you.
3. Be sure you have a right motive when confessing these visions.
Confession with a corresponding action, brings possession.
Example: One vision for our family is to be in a position where we can serve, worship, get actively involved, participate, and volunteer in the Kingdom of God. We want to be able to fellowship with other believers in the body of Christ to reinforce our status and commitment to God. All of this will be done according to Hebrews 10:25 which says Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
Everything we need and desire is already prepared and stored in heavenly places or in the spiritual realm. These blessings are not just bare essentials. These blessings are the biggest dreams and desires we can imagine. What we must do is use our faith and works to manifest these spiritually blessings in the natural realm (the earth).
We may not see these blessings with our natural eyes but, because the word of God says they are there we (by faith) believe and receive these blessings. We live righteously in order to position ourselves to receive these blessings in the earth.
Receive by faith ALL God has stored up for you.

Jeremiah 32:27 Behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for Me?
Whether in need of a breakthrough, or overcoming a habit or addiction, or anything else that needs to happen and will bring God glory, there is no thing too hard for God. So, we continue to do the things that move us forward and we praise God for His supernatural influence in our situation!
Psalm 7:9a O righteous God, who searches minds and hearts 10b who saves the upright in heart. 17 I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
God knows and examines our hearts (our character, emotions, thoughts, motives) and keeps/saves those who have right hearts. Righteousness refers to the faithfulness with which God acts. So, when we pray with a right heart, we expect our desired answer from God (because He is faithful) & we praise Him for it in anticipation for it.
2 Corinthians 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
When we spend our time comparing ourselves with others, we exhibit foolishness. The only being who we strive to mimic is Jesus. Other than that, we praise God that we are incredibly, uniquely, and beautifully made (Psalm 139:14). And, we continue to look to God as our source, not comparing our things with that of others (Matthew 6:33). So, when we find ourselves comparing, we must stop, and praise God for creating us, providing all our needs, and blessing us with abundantly more (Ephesians 3:20)!
Romans 16:27 to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.
The word “amen” is not something we just say at the end of each prayer just because. Saying amen, shows the authority God has given us on earth.
The word “amen” means, so let it be. Whatever need, desire, or request we pray for, we ask for it in Jesus name and confidently say amen or so let it be.
If you’re sick, we say we are healed in Jesus name, so let it be.
If you‘re battling depression, you say we have joy in Jesus name, so let it be.
If you’re fearful, you say we have no fear in Jesus name, so let it be.
If you need anything, you say God will supply my needs in Jesus name, so let it be.
Whatever you pray for, we have it in Jesus name and we declare that it is done in the earth by saying amen.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
God has already promised us greatness when we follow His purpose for us and allow His power to work within us. We know that God is faithful (1 Corinthians 1:9). So, it is time for us to let go of fear, anxiety, and doubt, and commit fully to God’s Will and perfect plan. If He called you, He has equipped you and will not only sustain, but bless, and prosper you in it!
Mark 16:17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
Whatever your situation is, speak the name of Jesus within that situation.
If there is a marital crisis in the home confidently declare a blessed marriage in the name of Jesus.
If there is a mental issue (depression, anxiety, fear, etc) confidently declare a sound mind in the name of Jesus.
If there is a nicotine or an alcoholic addiction, confidently declare deliverance from any addiction.
*Key Word: Confidence
All of these declarations should be accompanied by a renewed mind. There is no need to declare these things when our sin natured minds are still prone to return from which it came.
Experience the power of God through the name of Jesus to resolve every issue you have.

Jeremiah 24:6 I will watch over and care for them, and I will bring them back here again. I will build them up and not tear them down. I will plant them and not uproot them. 7 I will give them hearts that recognize me as the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me wholeheartedly.
There are so many things that attempt to distract us from God. But God is so loving that His ultimate desire is to simply, be our God. So, when we come to Him wholeheartedly, committing our time, efforts, desires, and lives to Him, He gets to build us up, plant us, and watch us grow, develop, and prosper. Praise God for being our God!
Psalm 103:20 Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!
Whenever we speak the Word of God for our situation, angels act on our behalf. Angels in the spiritual realm react to the Word of God that is being spoken. Whatever we speak concerning our situation or circumstance, angels are assigned to bring it to pass in the natural.
For example, if we’re sick, we declare by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Angels in the spiritual realm retrieve healing to the person declaring the Word of God. Speak the Word of God over your life and receive all that is entitled to you.
Thank God for angels.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Our words have so much power. Whether we speak negative, crude, or profane language, or if we choose to speak life, we are held responsible for our words. But, our speech is merely a product of what we put in our hearts. So, we intentionally choose to expose ourselves to godly experiences (positive words, thoughts, images) and the fruit is produced will reflect the condition of our hearts.
Psalm 16:11You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Have you ever had a time where you looked around and it seems like you’re suppose to be happy but, you‘re not? You have everything to be happy about (employment, transportation, a place to reside, and spouse) but it seems like something is missing. Well, what’s missing is the presence of God. We can have an abundance of things but, without God’s presence every material thing is unfulfilling.
When we enter His presence, we are guaranteed fullness of joy. This means weather we have an abundance of things or only one, joy to the full will still reside within us. We also are guaranteed eternal pleasures. This means whatever our heart desires we can have. We can have all these things and more but, we first must get into God’s presence.
Find God’s presence by submitting yourselves to God and walking in obedience.

Ephesians 3:17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.
The word “may” in these two sentences signifies a choice. Paul is advising us to allow Christ to dwell in our hearts and to be rooted in love. At the end of the day the choice is ultimately up to us. We have a choice not to allow Christ to dwell in our hearts and not to be rooted in love which is really unfortunate to the believer. It is unfortunate to the believer simply because everything surrounds Christ and love. The new commandment Christ set before us is to love God and love our neighbor (Matthew 10:37). So if we don’t have love we don’t have God. If we don’t have God how can we expect to receive all the benefits associated with God?
We must have love in our hearts people of God in order to change our life, our situation, and our circumstances.
Have Love!
Romans 8:9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

Genesis 1:27a So God created man in his own image
As a rocket sheds pieces when exiting earth’s realm, so will we shed our flesh and have only our core, our spirit, remain. So, when people say be true to yourself, they are partially correct. Many people take that expression to mean be true to your flesh nature, so that whatever you desire in the flesh, you act upon. But, the true meaning is be true to your spirit, the one that craves to be closer to and yearns to obey God. So, make ‘doing you’ (the real, spirit you) cool!
2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
God is not the author of bad things, but He does work ALL things out for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). So, when there is a seemingly bad situation, know that God will use that to orchestrate something that much better in our lives (Ephesians 3:20). In the interim, we speak God’s Word over our situation, reminding God of His promises and faithfulness to us (Isaiah 43:26), and we praise God because we know that He has already worked it out in our favor (Acts 16:25, 26)!
Jesus feeding 5000 people is a familiar story found in John 6:10-12 but, did you know Jesus also fed 4000 additional people in Matthew 15:34-38?
Matthew 15:34 Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven, and a few little fish.” 35 So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. 36 And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude. 37 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up seven large baskets full of the fragments that were left. 38 Now those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.
That is a total of 9000 people Jesus fed.
We sometimes feel God’s miraculous power has limits. We feel once God does something great and mighty in our lives, we have to wait a while for the for the next great thing. We feel like God has to recharge his miracle battery.
God is not a comic book hero where He can only use His powers for a limited time only. God is all powerful. In fact, God is the Creator of power. God wants to continue to bless our lives in a major way. Experience the best in your life by expecting blessing and miracles on a daily basis.
Trust in God!
Isaiah 46:9b I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. 10b I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.11 From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do.
God is powerful. What He says He will do, He does. When He says He will never leave us or forsake us, He won’t; When He says He will fulfill His purpose in us, He will. It’s overwhelming to know that the awesome, and powerful God loves us unconditionally.
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Through the fall of Adam, when we enter this earth we are born sinners. The only way to be made righteous is through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Although we’re made righteous, because of our sin nature, we are constantly being lured or enticed back to sin. It’s a daily battle to live righteously and resist the temptation to sin.
Everyone is tempted in different areas. Some are tempted in the areas of fornication, homosexuality, drug addiction, etc. We (including myself at one time) tend to discredit the statement “I was born that way” when people desire to be in a homosexual relationship. Well, that statement could be true for that person. Homosexuality could be their point of weakness or temptation. This DOES NOT give them the right to live this lifestyle just because it’s their point of weakness. They have to resist the temptation to commit “their” sin like anyone else.
Thank God He has given us the power to overcome ALL temptation.

James 1:13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.
Luke 4:2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
Temptations DO NOT come from God but, Satan. God doesn’t place temptations in front of us as a test for us to pass. Temptations are attacks on our mind from Satan to make us go against God‘s Word. When we commit a sin, we are showing an outward display of a lost temptation battle that first took place in the mind. Everyone is tempted in different areas. Some are tempted in the areas of fornication, homosexuality, drug addiction, etc. A righteous lifestyle does not prevent a person from being tempted. As we see in Luke 4:2 Jesus, the most righteous person on earth, was tempted by the devil.
God will not allow us to be tempted by Satan, more than we can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). So whatever temptation you are facing, know that God has already given you the victory to overcome that temptation.
Be Victorious!
Mark 11:23 “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.
In this scripture, Jesus said if a person believes and shall not doubt in his heart. The thing that is needed to receive blessings in the earth our belief in God’s Word without doubt.
Notice the scripture does not say “and does not doubt in his head.” This means doubts will come into our mind but, we don’t have to entertain them. Blessings and desires won’t come when we allow the doubt to leave our head and enter our heart or our core of our belief.
Combat the doubt with the Word of God and see the results that God promised manifest.

Whether you need to reevaluate how you view your circumstances or reassess how you conduct yourself, we all need to understand that this is all temporary. So, we choose to live by the Spirit and not by the thoughts, actions, and desires of the flesh.
2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Scripture of the Day: Another Element of Care
1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
When people read this scripture most people think of cares that weigh us down, stress us out, depress us, etc. These cares are valid when referring to this scripture. We are to give these cares to God because burdens were never intended for mankind.
Another element of care we should also give to God is, caring what people think, say, or feel. When we stop caring about what people think about us we can truly give our heart, mind, and soul to God. We can truly give a testimony about all the wonderful things God has done for without wondering how uncomfortable our testimony makes people feel. We can worship God without limits when we stop caring about what people may say.
When the Bible says “cast ALL your care,” be sure to do exactly that including the additional element of care.
Our emotions must be submitted to God. Instead of accepting feelings of rejection, resentment, sadness, envy, anger, or any other emotion that causes us to believe or act in a way contrary to God’s Word or promises, we must rebuke those emotions and submit ourselves fully to what God has to say about us, our situation, and our future.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Psalm 139:14 I will praise you; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are your works; and that my soul knows right well.

Philippians 4:7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
There’s a peace that goes beyond logic, reason, or intellect. There’s a peace we should have that goes beyond our situations, circumstances, and problems. This peace is only given to us by God.
You may be dealing with a situation or circumstance and don’t know how to obtain this God given peace. We obtain this peace by resting our belief, faith, and total reliance in God’s Word.
If a person is about to lose their house, we obtain peace by resting in the promise that God will supply all our needs. (Philippians 4:19)
If a person desires a child, we obtain peace by resting in the promise that God will give us the desires of our heart. (Psalm 37:4)
If a person needs employment, we obtain peace by resting in the promise the righteous will not be forsaken. (Psalm 37:25)
It’s a choice for a person to obtain this peace or not. We can choose to dwell on the negative circumstances which won’t give us peace or rest on the positive outcomes in God’s Word.
The choice is yours.
1 Corinthians 11:1 Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
Paul was so in tuned with His walk with God until he encouraged others (including us) to imitate his life as he did Christ.
We can take a lesson from Paul. As our walk with God grows, we can be an encouragement for others to do the same. Remember there is always someone observing you in your behavior.
Be the example for others to follow the Christ in you.
Psalm 9:10 Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.
Trust God. It seems simple, but we often get so wrapped up in what may be troubling us that we forget to trust God. Whether we are trusting Him to get us to work on time, or trusting Him to show us our purpose in life, or bring us our one true love, no matter how seemingly small or big, trust Him. He has never and will never abandon or betray us who seek Him.
Zechariah 4:6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.
Sometimes, we attempt to overcome temptations and problems with our own physical abilities. God never intended for it to be this way. God wants us to rely on His Spirit (the Holy Spirit) to overcome anything.
If you are addicted to smoking, allow the Holy Spirit to direct you step by step in overcoming smoking.
If you are dealing with any type of sexual immorality, allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in your deliverance.
If you desire to get closer to God, (reading, praying, worshiping more) allow the Holy Spirit to guide you into getting closer with God.
Whatever you desire that pertains to life and Godliness, allow the Holy Spirit to direct you in every way.
