2 Timothy 1:8, 9 So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, who has saved us and called us to a holy life–not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
God’s grace is God’s blessing, protecting, and caring for us even though we have not earned it or deserved it. God still allows us to have food to eat, promotions on our job, and a drama free life even though some of us are rationalizing our sin, intentionally sinning, and encouraging others to sin. The grace of God literally holds back the punishment the enemy could inflict in our lives. We should be experiencing sickness and disease, poverty, and death but, God’s grace says “NO!”
We should recognize God’s grace by giving thanks to God for the things He’s done in spite of our ways and live a pleasing life showing Him His grace is appreciated.
Praise God for God’s grace.
