Acts 11:12 The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s house.
When we get in touch with the Spirit of God (The Holy Spirit), the Spirit of God will speak to us. The Holy Spirit will tell us where to go, when to go, and how to go. But, we must be submitted to God.
How do we get in touch with the Spirit? First, we must receive the Holy Spirit. There are many people who are saved but, have not received the Holy Spirit (reference Acts 19:2). Simply say, “God I receive Your Spirit into my life.” Secondly, we get in touch with the Spirit through prayer, praise, worship, and acts of obedience. Prayer, praise, worship, and acts of obedience enhance our ability to hear the voice of God.
Honestly, the Spirit may tell someone to do something that doesn’t make logical sense. That’s why it’s so important to be totally submitted to God’s Spirit. Submission is an act of trust when things don’t make sense. Everything God tells us to do won’t make sense but, His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8).
So, be submitted and let the Spirit speak.
