Psalm 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

When we first get born again, we love and praise God because of the benefits and blessings. We love God for what He has done and what He can do in our lives. He can bless us with all our needs and desires and keep us from burning in hell. Initially, these are great reasons to praise and love God. But, eventually we need to graduate to a place where we serve God simply because of who He is. We need to get to a place where we seek His face not His hand. Praise Him because He is God. Worship Him because He is King of the world. Love Him because He loves us. The benefits and blessings are still there but, our focus is on pleasing God.
