Proverbs 29:25 A person’s fear sets a trap [for him], but one who trusts the LORD is safe
When fear enters our life, it sets a trap for us. We may think a little fear is okay or a little fear is healthy but, the Bible clearly states that fear sets a trap for us.
Fear set up a trap in Job’s life. Yes, Job was an upright man but, Job prayed and fasted out of fear. Job prayed hoping and wishing nothing bad would happen to him or his family. He didn’t pray with a confidence knowing God was his protector and provider. That’s why he said in Job 3:25 What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. Job admitted his fear. Fear literally gave the devil access to ruin and destroy every good thing God provided in Job’s life..
Don’t allow fear to enter and set up a trap in your life.
Be faithful not, fearful!
