Have you ever wondered why the signs and miraculous things seem to stop after the Bible days? It seems all the miracles and wonders Jesus, Paul, and a few others did suddenly stopped. If you do hear about these miracles they are so few and far between or they’re considered to be a hoax.

The reason why there seems to be a lack of authentic signs and wonders today is because the gospel of Jesus Christ has not been preached. We (that means you too) have been instructed by Jesus Christ Himself to preach the gospel to everyone. What does the gospel have to do with signs and miracles? The prerequisite of signs and wonders is the gospel being preached. If there is no gospel preached, there are no signs and wonders to follow. God’s miracles and wonders are not magic tricks for the viewer. They are for the unbeliever to believe and be saved (John 4:48). Miraculous signs and wonders are an outward display of God’s ability to heal the sick, raise the dead, break strongholds, and so much more. It’s a chance for unbelievers to know God does exist.

When Jesus is preached to all, signs and wonders follow.

Mark 16:15He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.

Mark 16:20Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.
