Mark 16:15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.
Mark 16:20 Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.
Why don’t we see these signs, miracles, and wonders in church every Sunday when the gospel is being preached? Once again, these signs and wonders are for the unbeliever to believe (John 4:48). What good would it do for a believer, who knows God is a healer, provider, protector, etc. to see signs and wonders weekly? It would only continue to confirm what he already knows about God, while the unbeliever is outside of the church hoping for a sign that God exists.
Also, we, the believer, were not instructed to live life by miracles. We’re instructed to live by faith (Romans 1:17). Everything that the believer needs or desires can and should be obtained by faith. I’m not saying miracles from God won’t ever happen but, we shouldn’t live by the miracle, we should live by faith. We should live knowing our faith will bring whatever we, the godly, desire to pass.
