James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
Many of us can categorize our life, maybe work, school, home, church, family, and friends. No matter what phase of life we are in, most of us have things that need to be prioritized. While God should always be our top priority, many of our schedules would not support that claim. So, it is up to us to choose to structure our lives in a manner that pleases God.
First, we must seek Him and make Him a part of our day. Maybe we commit to wake-up five minutes earlier so that we can begin our day with a conversation with God. Then, set aside additional time throughout the day to read and hear God’s Word.
Next, we should take all of the ‘categories’ in our lives and ask God, what would You have me do? Be willing to claim or relinquish responsibility where God tells you to. Know that if He called you to it, He will provide what you need to accomplish it; and if He instructed you to let it go, then trust that it will be alright without your input. Remember to seek God and trust His wisdom.
Hebrews 11: 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
