Society has minimized the importance in attending church. They have reduced it to having a religious experience on Sundays or Saturdays just to live unholy the rest of the week. Being in a local church is an opportunity for believers to socialize and strengthen one another. Living in the world becomes difficult at times but, when we have that support system backing us up weekly, if not daily, it makes life that much easier. Church is also an opportunity to grow spiritually. Daily the devil is trying to kill us with thoughts, ideas, and suggestions. But, when we develop a great foundation in the word of God; we become unstoppable.
The Bible says those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish (Psalm 92:13). The house of the Lord represents a church and flourish means to prosper. We can simplify this verse by saying; those who are stable in a church will prosper.
Today, I encourage all believers to find a local church where you can learn, grow, and serve faithfully. If you have a local church, encourage someone else with this message.
