In order to live the best, we have to do the best. The best is found in God’s word. Our life should be a life that’s pleasing to God. When we’re dedicated to pleasing God, He is dedicated to pleasing us. There are three ways we can please God.
1. Suppression: Suppress the urge to sin and suppress the temptations of our flesh by meditating on the word of God that’s contrary to any unholy thought that enters our mind.
2. Confession: confess the word of God over every situation (good or not so good) in your life. Example: confess you are healed (Isaiah 53:4); confess you live in abundance (John 10:10).
3. Execution: James 1:22 says be doers of the word and not hearers only. This means we have to execute the word of God in our life. It’s not good enough to know the word of God but, we have to do the word of God.
God has given us the grace to perform each task; suppression, confession, and execution. Use His grace wisely.
