By now, most of us realize that God has healed us (past tense). He is not healing us and He is not going to heal us. Everything pertaining to our health is already done. Any sickness or disease that we face is an attack on what God has done through Jesus (Isaiah 53:5). [If you didn’t know, now you know.]
Because of Jesus, we not only experience great health but, also forgiveness. Our forgiveness is the same as our healing. God is not going to forgive us every time we sin. We are forgiven. Every past, present, or future sin we commit as a believer, has been forgiven. So, we don’t ask for forgiveness to receive forgiveness, we thank God that through the blood of Jesus we have been forgiven (past tense). When we ask for forgiveness to receive forgiveness, we minimize what Jesus has already done. Jesus died so that we can be forgiven once and for all.
Praise God for Jesus! Receive and accept that with every mistake we make, we are forgiven.
