Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

A first grade teacher says to her students, whoever makes an “A” on this quiz receives a toy. After taking the quiz, 5 out of 15 students make an “A.” Those 5 students will confidently walk to the teacher expecting to receive their toy.

God has the same stipulations in life. Our quiz is being obedient to God’s Word. Once we make our “A” with our obedience in God’s classroom called life, we can confidently approach God expecting to receive our needs and desires. Our obedience is not in our own efforts or abilities but, it’s God’s grace which gives us the strength, tenacity, and fortitude to completely obey Him.
