Through Jesus Christ every promise was made available to the believer.

Before we made Jesus Christ our Lord, we had to work hard for everything we desired. We had to live by chance or luck and hope we get in good with someone above us. After making Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, everything was made ready for us to receive. It’s as if Jesus made life one big buffet. We can put total health on our plate, deliverance from addictions on our plate, prosperity in all things on our plate, and a great marriage on our plate. Any promise we desire that’s found in God’s Word is available to us. The only thing we have to do is receive the promises available to us.

Receive the promises of God by simply saying, “I receive it.”

2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
