Proverbs 28:20 A faithful person will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.
Faithfulness is one of the prerequisites for everything we desire in life. If we desire better for our lives, we have to be faithful with the things we have currently (Luke 16:10).
If we desire a new car, we should be faithful with our current car. This means we keep it clean and do regular maintenance on our current vehicle. If we want a new house, we should be faithful with our apartment or current house. This means we keep our residence clean and maintained. If something is broken, we fix the problem instead leaving it broken for years. If we want a husband or a wife, we should be faithful with others and with ourselves. This means we consistently treat people with kindness and respect. How can God provide us with a husband or a wife if we have a track record of criticizing and treating others poorly? We should love ourselves (Mark 12:31). How can we love someone else if it’s difficult to love ourselves? If we can’t pamper ourselves, how can we expect to pamper our spouse?
The journey to our desires starts with us.
It’s time to Be Faithful.
