Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

Our desires may clash from time to time.
We want updated designer clothes, but we also want to be debt free.
We want to walk in divine health, but we also want to eat cookies and cakes often.
We want a fit body, but we also want to go home without working out.

It’s during these clashes where we need to consult God the most. We don’t want to live a mediocre life with the bare minimum, but we also don’t want to live foolishly. By acknowledging God, Who knows all, He’ll tell us what’s best for us at this time. He may tell us to wait on buying those shoes or He may tell us have two cookies instead of four.

Living a life acknowledging God, takes the pressure off of us regarding if we made the right decision or not. And the great thing about God is, if we miss acknowledging Him on a desire, His grace is sufficient to cover our mishaps.
