Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, and the consuming locust, and the cutting locust, my great army which I sent among you.

Do you ever think about the past and the things you went through? Some of us faced hurtful days where we were misused and abused by people. Some of us went through some trying times where we didn’t know how we were going to make it. Some of us simply had dumb days where our dumb decisions were the cause for our setbacks.

Those were progressive years that the enemy stole. The enemy used people, incidents, and deception to steal years from our lives. But we have hope. God, Himself, said He will restore the years that were stolen from us.

When we genuinely commit our lives to God, in some way shape or form, God will restore the years we lost. The pain we experienced at the hands of people will be restored in the form of a double portion of joy. The amount of money we could have made or invested during those dumb days will be restored. The time we wasted being unproductive will be restored to us.

Regardless of what negative event we’ve gone through, God will get the credit for restoring our lives.
