John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

Throughout our lives, there’s always going to be a struggle between our will and the will of the Father. We may want to stay, but God may be prompting us to move. We may want to get divorced, but God is telling us to stay.

If Jesus, our example, didn’t come to do His own will, but the will of the Father, we should discover God’s will for our own lives.

Knowing God’s will doesn’t come automatically. It takes continuous communication with God. Once knowing God’s will, the fight is on. We must resist the urge to do our own will or get sidetracked from doing God’s will.
