2 Kings 6:16 “Do not be afraid,” Elisha answered, “for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw that the hills were full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
When we see or face difficult circumstances, we must close our natural eyes and open our spiritual eyes to see all God has prepared for us.
So, how do we open our spiritual eyes? We meditate on God’s Word until we see ourselves with God’s provision. If there’s lack, we need to meditate on Philippians 4:19 which says, God will supply all our needs. If we feel unprotected, it’s time to meditate on Psalm 28:7 which says, the LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. If there’s a desire we have, but we don’t know how we’re going to get it, meditate on Ephesians 3:20 that says, God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
We meditate on this Word until we see ourselves with God’s promise of provision, protection, and peace. We meditate on God’s Word until our mood changes. We meditate on it until we believe it.
Don’t be deceived by the limitations in the natural. Open those spiritual eyes and see all that God has in store for us.
