If you’re experiencing a negative emotion, you need to ask yourself…. What lie from Satan am I believing? If you’re irritable, frustrated, angry, or depressed, you’re believing a lie.
Daily, the devil bombards our minds with untrue things. A negative emotion is a sign that you believed one of his lies.
If you’re angry at work, you may have believed the lie that you’re unappreciated. If you’re depressed, you may have believed the lie that things will never change. If you’re anxious about wanting something to happen, you may have believed the lie that you’re going to miss out on something.
When a negative emotion arises, take a second to think about what you’re believing. If you find yourself believing the lie(s), drop the lie and believe the truth in God’s word.
