That “no” we experience from one situation to the next can be difficult to swallow. Although it may not seem like it at the time, that “no” can’t harm us.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
When we trust in the plan of God, we have hope. Our hope is that in spite of all the things that come against us and all the rejection we face, God’s plan hasn’t changed. God still plans to prosper us.
When we get a negative health report telling us that the disease hasn’t left, God still plans to prosper our health. When we get a rejection letter telling us we didn’t get the job, God still plans to prosper our career. When the pregnancy test still shows we’re not pregnant, God still plans to prosper our family.
Demonic forces may attempt to harm us, but when our faith, hope, and trust is in God, they can’t stop His plans for our lives. We can never lose.
