Psalms 23:2 He lets me rest in green meadows; He leads me beside peaceful streams.
When we submit to God and allow Him to lead us, we’ll experience peace. Peace is something we can’t buy. We can have all the money in the world, but still have no peace.
People try to duplicate God’s peace with things like meditation or going on relaxing vacations. That provides temporary peace, but everywhere we go, our minds are with us. If we don’t have peace in our minds, nothing we do provides satisfaction.
When we give God full control, He’ll lead us. He’ll show us areas where we’re holding onto cares, where we’re afraid, or anxious. All of this negatively impacts our peace. God will lead us to our deliverance from those things to experience internal peace. He’ll also show us how to have external peace. We can have peace in our marriages, with our children, and at our jobs.
Let’s allow God to lead us and take Him up on His offer to provide us with complete peace.
