Psalm 11:7 AMPC For the Lord is [rigidly] righteous, He loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold His face, or He beholds the upright.

The righteous do righteous deeds. Not because it makes them righteous. They do righteous deeds because of their righteousness. 

By putting our faith in Jesus, Jesus made us as righteous as we would ever be (Rom. 5:1). Once we understand that we’re righteous, out of our appreciation for Him, we do righteous deeds. This includes helping the poor, praying for the sick, introducing people to the gospel of Jesus Christ, and meeting the needs of someone else.

Once again, these deeds don’t make us righteous. These deeds are done because we’re righteous.

Make the world a better place and act selflessly by performing righteous deeds.
