Psalms 12:6 NLT The Lord’s promises are pure, like silver refined in a furnace, purified seven times over.
We may have had people lie to us. It could’ve been our parents, our teachers, or our supervisors. They say one thing but end up doing another. This can leave us with a lot of distrust. Eventually, we’re told to trust God, but because we’ve been lied to so many times, we read God’s word with skepticism.
God is not like man. What God said will come to pass. His promises are pure. It’s not a might or a maybe. It has to come to pass. The only thing that stops His promises from coming to pass is our unbelief. If we have doubt, unbelief, and distrust in our hearts, it limits or stops what God can do.
Let’s change our mentality when it comes to God’s word. Without doubt or hesitation, believe it and trust that at the appointed time it will come to pass.
