Psalms 80:17 NLT Strengthen the man you love, the son of your choice.

Sometimes, we have so much going on until it feels like our strength has been depleted. Between managing the household, working, taking the children to extracurricular activities, and serving at church, fatigue can set in.

When we’re in need of strength, we can pray this simple prayer above. The good news for us under the new covenant is strength has already been made available through Christ. As we pray for strength, by faith, we can receive strength and strength will be ours (Mark 11:24).

This also works when sickness is attacking our health. We can rely on God’s strength to overcome any fatigue due to sickness. 

Don’t let fatigue dominate. Pray for and expect God’s strength every day.
