Psalm 82:6 AMPC I said, You are gods [since you judge on My behalf, as My representatives]; indeed, all of you are children of the Most High. [John 10:34-36; Rom. 13:1, 2.]
God has given us (mankind) dominion and authority over this earth (Gen. 1:26). We control what’s allowed or not allowed in this earth (Matt 16:19). Therefore, God is not in control because He put us in control.
Ideally, everyone should submit their control to God’s will, but unfortunately, everyone won’t. We see that in the beginning with Adam and Eve as they mishandled their authority.
Since people don’t know about or properly use their authority, we see rape, premature death, inclement weather, and other terrible things. A lot of people want to point and say, “Where is God?” and “How come He won’t stop this?” The reason He won’t stop it is because we won’t stop this. He made us gods over this earth.
He’s given us the ability to allow or not allow anything in this earth (bad or good) (Matt. 18:18). Through Jesus, He’s given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We can cast out demons, heal the sick, and raise the dead (Matt. 10:8). Jesus, our example, even showed us how to stop storms (Mark 4:39).
Know the authority that you possess and understand that we are gods.
