Psalms 84:12 NLT O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, what joy for those who trust in you.

A benefit of trusting in God is joy. It’s not sadness, fear, or pain. It’s joy.

Trusting God will always be a fight with our flesh. Our flesh will always think that it’s right and God’s way is wrong or unnecessary. We must make ourselves fully trust in Him and His way.

1. Joy comes as a result of trusting in God because He’s directing our path (Prov. 3:5-6).
2. We have joy as we trust in God because He promises safety (Ps. 37:3).
3. Joy is present as we trust in Him because we get instant access to His help (Ps. 28:7).
4. We remain joyful as we trust in Him because we have peace (Isa. 26:3).
5. We have joy as we trust in God because we know He’s always present (Ps. 9:10).

If we want to live in a constant state of joy, trust God in every situation.
