10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. 11 For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go.
We can rest and be at peace knowing with 100% certainty that we are protected by God. We’re protected from being assaulted, mugged, raped, or abused.
The news may say a certain area has the highest crime rate, but we can go there for hours without having any issues. This doesn’t mean we intentionally put ourselves in a dangerous situation expecting to be protected by God. That’s unwise. But if we’re led by the Spirit to go to a certain area, we can confidently know that we’re protected by God.
God’s protection is not limited to crime. He promised to protect us from sickness and disease, too. We shouldn’t worry about getting sick from the newest virus going around. God vowed to protect us. Again, don’t intentionally put yourself in a bad situation, expecting God to protect you. Be led by the Spirit of God and exercise wisdom.
How can we be so certain that we’re protected? Because He said it. And our faith in what He said activates His protection. If we believe the horror stories of the media or people more than the word of God, that protection is not guaranteed.
It doesn’t matter where you are or who you are. Never fear about your safety because God has promised you His protection. Believe Him.
