Psalms 92:8 NLT But you, O Lord, will be exalted forever.
The scripture says the Lord will be exalted forever. Whether everyone honors Him or not, God will be exalted because He’s God. However, it’s our choice if we personally exalt Him in our own lives.
To exalt means to hold or think of something in very high regard. To personally exalt the Lord means we put Him above everything else in our lives. This includes work, our children, our spouses, entertainment, and social media. If we put anything above God, we have exalted that thing above God.
This can be difficult when we experience problems. Our human nature has the tendency to magnify our current problem(s) above everything else. If our minds are consumed with whatever we’re facing and not on God, we’ve exalted the problem above God. We can reverse that by worshipping God, reading His word, listening to sermons, and praying. With each thing we consistently do, we’re putting and keeping God first.
Exalt the Lord and keep Him exalted to experience a wonderful victorious life.
