Psalms 94:14 NLT The Lord will not reject his people; he will not abandon his special possession.
Sometimes, people have a difficult time trusting God because of rejection. They may have been rejected by their parents or someone really close to them and feel like God may do that to them. The death of a loved one can even be a form of rejection. God will never ever reject you.
It doesn’t help that some believers spread the lie that God will reject us if we sin or don’t do enough righteous works. No matter what we do or how far we’ve strayed, God will NEVER reject any of us.
When we repent and turn to God, He will accept us with opened arms. We can see this in the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32).
Once we believe that God won’t reject us, we can develop a more intimate relationship with Him. We can boldly come to Him, despite what we’ve done, and request our needs, desires, and ask for His help.
People may have rejected us, but God won’t. Allow Him the opportunity to replace the people who rejected you.
