Luke 5:16 NKJV So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.
If we think we have a busy schedule, Jesus’s schedule was extremely busy. Daily, he traveled, taught, and healed numerous people. With all that He had going, He still recognized the importance of spending quality time with God.
We should never be too busy to spend time with God. We could wake up earlier, go to bed later, or replace our “me time” with prayer.
As we prioritize God and consistently connect with Him, He’ll provide answers to our problems, wisdom for our circumstances, and He’ll prepare us for what’s to come. He’ll remind us of the peace, mental stability, and promises we have through Jesus. Whatever we’re looking for, we can find in our quality time with God.
To our flesh, spending time with God may seem boring and it will seem like a sacrifice, but our spirits love it. It’s like a recharge for our spirit’s battery.
Let’s follow our greatest example in Jesus and take time out of our busy schedule to spend time with the Father.
