Proverbs 13:10 NKJV By pride comes nothing but strife, But with the well-advised is wisdom.
If there’s strife or conflict in our lives, pride is present. It could be pride coming from us or pride from the other person. Any and every form of conflict in our lives, there’s pride.
If there’s conflict between us and another person, we need to go to God to determine if there’s pride in us. If pride is revealed, to remove it, we will have to forgive, apologize, and/or accept accountability for our actions. Our flesh will hate it because it makes us seem weak, but we’re doing what we must to remove this cancerous thing called pride. This goes for people who have transitioned. We may have to forgive them in order to release ourselves from pride. If pride is not removed, it will destroy (Prov. 16:18).
If the conflict is due to pride coming from the other person, we can use our God-given authority to command the demoic force to be removed from that person. Ultimately, letting go of pride is up to them, but we can help by exercising our authority.
There’s a lot of conflict and strife in the world. Let’s do our part to reduce the strife by letting go of pride.
