Money is the substance we use in order to purchase something (house, boat, car) in this world. Have you ever wonder what substance we use to purchase money? Have you wondered what substance we use to obtain something money can’t buy (health, peace, joy)?
Faith is substance we use to obtain money and something money can’t buy.
Faith is substance we use to get everything we need and want.

We may not have a lot of money at times but, we have faith that can either get us money or supply us with our needs or desires in spite of our money.
We may be going through a difficult situation but, we have faith to know God will bring us out and use these difficult times as a testimony to someone else.
We may not know where God is leading us but, we have faith to know wherever God leads us is for our good.

Build your faith by hearing the word of God, use your faith for everything because the righteous shall live by faith, and know without faith it’s impossible to please God.
(Rom 10:17; Rom 1:17; Heb 11:6)

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Psalm 22:3 But you are holy, O you that inhabit the praises of Israel.
-Israel represents God’s people.

When we go through trials and tribulations, we may wonder and ask where is God?
The location of God is found in our praise.
God dwells in the praises of His people. When we praise God in the midst of our trials and tribulations God can act or respond to the situation at hand. However, if fill our mouth and mind full of doubt and complaints regarding our situation, God is far away.

Praise God in every situation because when praise, God has an obligation to respond.

All throughout the Bible God has set up “If, Then Statements.” “If, Then Statements” are promises God will fulfill if we do our part.

2 Chronicles 7:14 IF my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, THEN will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Isaiah 1:19 IF you are willing and obedient, (THEN) you will eat the best from the land

Deuteronomy 28:1 IF you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, (THEN) the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.;

In order to have that better, prosperous life, we have to handle business on our end. Search the scriptures to find what “If, Then Statements” God wants us to have. God cannot fulfill his part until we do our part.
Live Better!

Matthew 21:21 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.

God desires our faith in Him to be strong and limitless. In this verse, God uses a seemingly impossible situation to let us know if we have enough faith we can literally move a mountain into the sea. The idea is if we can move a mountain using our faith, our faith can make anything happen.

How do we grow in faith?

Romans 10:17 tells us, we grow in faith by hearing the word of God.
The more word we hear, the stronger our faith.
The less word we hear, the weaker our faith.

Grow in faith and make anything happen because nothing is too hard for our God.

Romans 13:8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.

The Bible tells us we should not owe anyone anything except love. This means, we should not owe our friends $20.00 and we should not owe the bank $20,000. This doesn’t mean it’s wrong to borrow but, it becomes wrong when we can’t pay people back in a timely manner.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

For those of us who may be struggling financially, seek Godly wisdom in reference to finances. When we are Spirit led, the Spirit will lead us into when, where, and how much we should purchase or if we should purchase at all.

Seek God and Be Free From Debt, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Luke 10: 38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. 40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself ? Tell her to help me!” 41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

There are times when we are so focused on everything that needs to be done, that we put God on a limited schedule, or eliminate His presence from our schedule completely. But, even though it may appear as though everything will fall apart if we don’t do them, we trust God and His Word, and we choose to seek Him first, and all those other things will fall into place (Matthew 6:33).

1 John 3:21, 22 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God. and receive from Him anything we ask, because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him.
Part 1 mentions how we must release the guilt and condemnation for the sins we’ve committed in the past.
Part 2 mentions how condemnation can affect the blessings God attempts to give us.
Part 3 will mention how our condemnation can affect the plan of God.

The Bible says in Ephesians 2:10, God has created us to do His works in the earth and in Genesis 12:2 we are blessed to be a blessing.
If we don’t have confidence (because of our condemnation) to ask God for the resources we needs or desire to be a blessing, what good will we be in the earth for God?

Condemnation is designed to make us feel guilty and not worthy enough to even ask God for anything. If we don’t ask God for anything we can’t be blessed. If we can’t be blessed, we can’t be a blessing. By holding on to guilt and condemnation affects God’s plan for our lives in a negative way.
Release the guilt and shame and receive forgiveness and grace.

1 John 3:21, 22 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God. and receive from Him anything we ask, because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him.
Part 1 of condemnation affects confidence, we stated we must release the guilt and condemnation for the sins we’ve committed in the past.
Part 2 will mention how our condemnation can affect the blessings God attempts to give us.

When we feel down and condemned about the sin we’ve committed, we feel unworthy to ask or receive anything from God. We feel our sin was too great to be forgiven by The Almighty, Holy God. Therefore, we miss out on the spouse we desire, the career we desire, the increase we desire, all because of our sense of unworthiness.
Once again, this unworthy feeling is not from God but, from Satan.
Let the past go by confessing the sin(s) to God. After confessing, on purpose, make an effort to live life as if nothing was wrong. If God can forget our sin, we should too.
Don’t let the past hold you hostage. If it can hold you hostage it will hold your blessings hostage.

1 John 3:21, 22 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God. and receive from Him anything we ask, because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him.

When we sin we should feel convict for what we’ve done against God. When conviction turns to guilt, then there is a problem.
The devil will attempt to make us feel guilty about what we’ve done. Our flesh wants to feel bad and we want to punish ourselves for what we’ve done. Somehow it makes us feel good about ourselves to know we punish ourselves for our sin. The next thing you know we’re still feeling guilty about something we did 10 years ago.
The punishment we give ourselves is not of God.
God promised when we confess our sins He is faithful to cleanse us from all unrighteousness and not to remember our sins (Hebrews 10:17, 1 John 1:9).
Be free from condemnation and let the past go, no matter how serious the sin seems to be. God will forgive and bless.

Psalm 56:11 in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

We are to trust God.
Either we trust God, or we don’t. There is no middle when it comes to trusting God. If we trust God in certain situations but don’t in others, we might as well say we don’t trust God completely.
When we say “I will trust God,” this represents some time in the future. We can trust God in the next minute or the next year. It’s simply “I trust God.”
The quicker we completely trust God with our life, health, safety, finances, etc. the quicker God can respond needs, problems, and issues.

TRUST GOD!

TRUST GOD!

Genesis 16:4 He slept with Hagar, and she conceived. When she knew she was pregnant, she began to despise her mistress.
5 Then Sarai said to Abram, “You are responsible for the wrong I am suffering.

When we do things our own way without consulting God, it allows unnecessary strife and turmoil to enter our lives. Once again, God is not obligated to bless something He didn’t authorize. This means whatever negative effect that happens in our lives as a result of us not consulting God, is on us.
We can reduce the drama in our lives by obeying and consulting God in ALL our ways.
Listen to the voice and God and rest in His promise. Whatever He said He’s going to do, hold Him to that word.

In Genesis 15:4 God promised Abram a son. God never said when the child was going to be born. In Genesis 16:1-4, Sarai and Abraham seem to get impatient with God and decided to do things using their own reasoning knowledge, and intellect by allowing Abram to sleep with his maid instead of waiting on God.

When God promises us something, at times we, can get a little impatient and do things our own way. We do something God has not instructed us to do but, want God to bless it.
We invest money into a get rich quick scheme and want God to bless it.
We drop out of school in order to get quick money and want God to bless our finances.
We stop taking medicine and want God to heal us.
God is not obligated to bless something He didn’t authorize.

Listen to the voice and God and rest in His promise. Whatever He said He’s going to do, hold Him to that word.

Hosea 14: 1 Return, Israel, to the Lord your God. Your sins have been your downfall! 2b Say to him: “Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of our lips.

4 “I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them.
8b I will answer him and care for him. I am like a flourishing juniper; your fruitfulness comes from me.”

9 Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

While Jesus’s sacrifice made us righteous, our repeated action of choosing God, or walking in His ways grants us restoration, abundant free love, having our needs met, solutions, and fruitfulness. It starts and continues with making a repeated choice.

Psalm 5:3 In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.

Every morning in most areas, we expect the sun to come out. We have this sense of expectation by observing the sun’s consistency of coming out every morning.
Due to the early time, some of us don’t even see the sun rise in the morning but, we know without a shadow of a doubt it’s shining in the sky.

The same way we expect the sun to come out every morning is the same way we should expect God word to perform in our lives. God has given us consistency in His word and in the testimony of others. What He can do for one He can do for another.
As long as we do our part, we should expect God’s word to work every time.
Have sense of expectation.

Genesis 12:2 “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

God promised to bless us. With this blessing from God, we are commanded to be a blessing. This means if God blesses us with financial increase, we are commanded to be a blessing in the lives or ministry of someone else.
When we give, sow, or are a blessing in the lives of someone else, another promise from God reacts to our giving. Which is…

Luke 6:38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full–pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”

By being a blessing to someone else, we are sowing a seed into the lives of another. When we give, God promised that our gift will return in full.
*That sounds like another blessing from God.
With this blessing from God, we are commanded to be blessing to others.

God created a system of endless blessings for us and His people. All God needs are obedient participants to work within His system.
Do you want to be blessed?            Well…be a blessing!

Proverbs 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.
8 This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

Doing things on our own accord without consulting God, rationalizing the Bible to make it fit our own agendas, or participating in unholy things may be more devastating than we think. It not only places us in wrong standing with God but, it can affect our health.

For those who have been suffering from any type of sickness or disease in their body, it may be more than the devil’s fault. The devil may use the unwise and unholy choices we make as an avenue to attack our bodies with sickness and disease. If not being wise in our own eyes and not participating in evil helps us, being wise in our own eyes and participating in evil hurts us.
Health belongs to us. Don’t give the devil the opportunity to take what rightfully belongs to us.

Scripture of the Day: It’s Something About That Name
Acts 19:13 Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15 [One day] the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?” 16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. 17 When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor.

Notice the people did not marvel because the demon was in the person, they marveled because the demon knew, respected, and submitted to the name of Jesus. Whenever we’re attacked by the devil in any situation, call on the name of Jesus and that devil must go. Every demon, devil, or evil spirit must know, respect, and submit to the name of Jesus.

There is one condition.

We must fully know, respect, and submit to the name of Jesus ourselves. We can’t cast devils out our family, home, or life if we’re not submitted to God ourselves. We need to totally submit to God and watch the power of God work in our lives.

Be Blessed!

1 Peter 1:16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

God commands us to be holy. Holiness is a lifestyle. Holiness is doing whatever God told us to do in His word. The reason God commands us to be holy is, without holiness we cannot see God. If God tells us to “be something” that means He has already given us the ability to become it.
Notice, God doesn’t instruct us to be righteous because righteousness is freely given to those who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior (Romans 5:19). We can’t become something we already are.

For those who are living a an unholy lifestyle it’s time for a change. A person is literally playing with fire by living unholy.
Live Holy and See God.

Luke 22:48 But Jesus said, “Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”

Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss.
There are people amongst us who also betray the Lord with a kiss. The kiss, of course, is not literal but figuratively speaking. We tend to shout, praise, cry, run, dance, and sing for the Lord but, behind closed doors we intentionally sin. We intentionally do what the Lord told us not to do. After we’ve sin the devil comes and attempts to make us feel guilty.

It’s interesting how Satan coaxes us into sin and after we’ve sin, he’s the same one who attempts to make us feel guilty about the sin he suggested.

We should come correct with the Lord. If we’re doing something we know is wrong in God’s eyes, the best thing we could do is…STOP!
If there is a sin(s) that we’re struggling with, we should sincerely ask the Lord to help and deliver us from that sin.
So instead of betraying the Lord with a double life, come correct and receive deliverance from ALL bondage.

Psalm 16:11 You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for ever more.

We have access to always making the right choices, to living in a consistently blessed, abundant, and prosperous life.  All we have to do is seek God and obey. God will show us the path of life if we are willing to take the time to seek His advice, and obey it.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

As believers, we can’t only pick and choose scriptures out the Bible that make us feel good. If we call ourselves believers, we’re going to have to accept, believe, and receive everything in the Bible.

Time and time we’ll here, “I don’t have to stop______ because God loves me for who I am.”
Although it’s true God love us for who we are, doesn’t mean God loves everything we do.
We can’t live a sinful lifestyle and hold on to a couple of scriptures about God loving and forgiving us just to continue in that same sinful lifestyle. Something has to change. Sin cannot go unpunished. Those who are playing that love/forgiveness game with God are playing on dangerous grounds.
Another thing. Jesus paid the price of sin by sacrificing himself for all mankind. When we deliberately sin, we make His sacrifice seem null and void.

For those who know they need to change, don’t rationalize the sin to fit your lifestyle, make a bold step of obedience and be the change.

Hebrews 2:14-15 tells us: “Since then the children [that’s us, the children of God] share in flesh and blood [that is, we have physical bodies], He Himself [Jesus] likewise also partook of the same [a physical body], that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil; and might deliver those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.”

Through television, many people feel Satan is this big scary guy waiting to kill us at any moment. The truth of the matter is, through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, Satan and his demons are powerless. Satan cannot and he has no right to kill, hurt, harm, or defraud anyone to those in Christ.
If we walk around worried or afraid that Satan is going to attack our lives, homes, or families; he will actually use that fear for his benefit. Job’s entire life was turned upside down due to his fear (Job 3:25). Now Jesus has took the power of Satan so we have nothing to fear.
People of God…Why would should we fear someone who is powerless???
Remove the fear from your hearts!

Live and walk in the authority God has given you!
Bind every demonic spirit that is attempting to illegally intrude in your life, house, or family.
We must let the devil know we run him, and he does not run us, in Jesus name.

Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

When a child is around 5 years old, they are young and innocent. They practically are sponges soaking up any information a reliable adult tells them. A person can tell them the most ludicrous thing and that child will believe them.

We should have this child like mind in reference to the word of God. We should believe everything the word of God says. At times, we tend to believe we’re too intelligent for the word of God.
Here is a hint…the word of God is THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR OUR LIVES!!! Use it!
Whatever God says do in the word of God; do it!
Whatever God says believe in the word of God; believe it!
Whatever God says to avoid in the word of God; avoid it!

Let the word of God light our pathways, in Jesus name, Amen.

Mark 4:35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.”

Jesus heard from God to go to the other side. While traveling to the other side, Jesus and His followers experienced a great storm. We know God is not in the habit of killing His Son Jesus. This means the storm came from the devil. We also know the storm did not come from God because in verse 39, Jesus rebuked the storm and Jesus is not in the habit of rebuking anything that’s God ordained. Finally, Jesus rebukes the storm and Jesus and His followers experienced peace as they went to the other side.

What we can learn from this is, we can be doing the will of God and still experience storms in our life. It doesn’t always mean God has come to test us. Just because God allows the storm doesn’t mean it’s God ordained. It very well may be Satan attempting to take us out as we continue to do the will of God. What we need to do is speak to our storms and tell them to be still.
Got a debt storm? Speak to it and tell it to line up with the word of God
Got a insecurity storm? Speak to it and tell confidence and joy to replace insecurity.
Whatever the storm is, speak to until it lines up with the word of God.

John 11:4 When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”

When Jesus was told Lazarus was sick, Jesus informed Lazarus’ sisters Mary and Martha; Lazarus’ sickness will not end up in death.
All Mary and Martha had to do was hold on, have faith, and believe what the word of the Lord said which was, Lazarus’ sickness will not end up in death.  Instead, they allowed natural events separate them from the word of God.

Whatever God has spoken to us, hold on, have faith, and believe that word. If He promised healing (Isaiah 53:5), have faith because we are healed. If He promised provision, (Philippians 4:19) have faith because God supplies our needs.
The devil will attempt to steal the word of God out of our hearts (Mark 4:15). He will use every trick possible including, making us believe things are dead, gone, or lost. Have faith and know, God’s word is full of so much power until the things that appear dead will rise again.
Today’s Assignment: Hold on to the word and DO NOT allow any obstacle or event convince you God’s word won‘t come to pass.

Scripture of the Day: I’ll Be With You

Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

When we first get saved, we have this belief that we won’t have to go through any difficult times and God will handle everything. That is not 100% true.
God lets us know we will have to go through some difficult times but, if we keep our trust in Him, those difficult times won’t overtake us.
Praise God!

Notice God doesn’t promise, when we pass through waters and rivers we won’t get wet or when we walk through the fire it won’t get real hot. Those difficult times we go through may get real uncomfortable. It may seem like God is not with us or He’s taking too long to help us. Keep the faith and stay focused on God and His promise and He is sure to deliver us in perfect timing.

Inspired by: Steve Harvey, yes Steve Harvey the comedian! It’s amazing who God uses for His glory.

Psalm 128:1 Blessed is every one that fears the LORD; that walks in His ways

Many say they fear God and they anticipate blessings. And our God is so awesome that He graciously bestows blessings that we don’t deserve. But, if we read the verse in entirety, the other piece says, “that walks in His ways.” So, our goal is to fear the Lord by walking in His ways. We hate evil, we love people, and we obey God, and then we live a blessed life full of supernatural favor, abundance, and increase.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

The scripture says, “faith is” not, “faith is going to be.” Faith has no future. When speak in faith, we speak in the present tense or the now.
If a person is sick in their body, their faith speech should be, I am healed; not I’m going to be healed.
If a person is in debt, their faith speech should be, I have and I use the wisdom of God concerning my finances; not I will have wisdom in my finances.
If a person is battling an addiction, their faith speech should say, through the blood of Jesus I am delivered from the addiction of ______.

Everything we need or desire God has already provided. Receive those things in the now.

Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
James 2:17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Salvation, confessing Jesus is Lord and Savior and He was raised from the dead, is obtained by faith. James 2:17 lets us know that faith without action is dead. Since salvation is obtained by faith, our actions have to align with our faith.

Question: What are the works regarding salvation?
Answer: A lifestyle that pleases the Lord.

We can’t live a sinful lifestyle knowing it goes against the word of God and honestly claim we’re saved. Our sinful actions make our faith in believing Jesus is Lord and Savior dead.
I’m not referring to the occasional missing of the mark sin. I’m referring to the person who has committed themselves to a certain lifestyle (fornication, adultery, cheating, homosexuality, etc) knowing it goes against God’s word and say they’re saved.
If there is someone out there is not living a lifestyle that’s pleasing to the Lord revive your faith by, renew your mind, change your ways, and allow your actions to please the Lord.

John 15:26 “But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.

John 16:7 Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.

In these two scriptures Jesus is letting us know when He leaves, He will send us a Helper. Jesus would not send us a Helper if He didn’t feel we needed help.
The Helper Jesus is referring to is the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is our life coach. Wherever we need to go, whatever we need to say, or whatever we need to do, the Holy Spirit will inform us.
Always let the Holy Spirit be your guide.

Scripture of the Day: Just Believe

Numbers 11:21-23
But Moses responded to the LORD, “There are 600,000 foot soldiers here with me, and yet you say, ‘I will give them meat for a whole month!’
Even if we butchered all our flocks and herds, would that satisfy them? Even if we caught all the fish in the sea, would that be enough?”
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Has my arm lost its power? Now you will see whether or not my word comes true!”

When we stand in faith and believe God for something but, our current conditions or situation APPEAR hopeless, we may question God on how He’s going to “pull it off.” When we question how God will bless us, it brings doubt and unbelief into our minds which corrupts our faith.
How, when, and where God blesses us, is none of our business.
Our responsibility is to BELIEVE without a shadow of a doubt that what God said, He will do.
We should check our belief level instead of checking God’s status.

Scripture of the Day: Seriously, Do You Trust God?

Psalm 62:8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Selah

When we’ve been hurt one too many times by people, we tend to close ourselves off from the world. We tend create this wall around us, not forming new relationships, and becoming antisocial in the efforts to protect our feelings.
This is not God’s plan for our lives because we are basing our decisions on fear not faith.
God’s desire is that we trust Him with every part of our lives including, our feelings.

When we truly trust God, we trust God to decide who we should allow in our lives, we trust God to give us discernment on the mindset of the people God allows in our lives, and we trust God to tell us how long these people should be in our lives.
We also trust God to completely remove the emotional pain caused by people who hurt us in our past.

God knows who we need and don’t need in our lives. We sometimes believe we can do a better job than God with protecting our feelings but, He promised to be our protector (Psalm 27:1). We should listen and heed the wisdom of God regarding even the most fragile parts of being.

Judges 7:2 The Lord said to Gideon, “You have too many men for me to deliver Midian into their hands. In order that Israel may not boast against me that her own strength has saved her,

8 So Gideon sent the rest of the Israelites to their tents but kept the three hundred, who took over the provisions and trumpets of the others.

Logically, in a war it didn’t make sense for Gideon to reduce the number of men who were fighting. Any reasonable person would think the more people you have in the fight, the greater your chances are to win. However, Gideon put his logic to the side and chose to obey the Lord. He chose to put more faith in God than reason.

When God gives us any idea or command, we should act on that idea or command. Our actions may seem foolish, silly, or tedious but, do it. Obedience is our entitlement to our success. Once our obedience is in motion, we should prepare to reap our harvest.

Revelation 21: 7He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

We are overcomers! We have overcome this world and living for its ideals and satisfying the flesh. Therefore, we receive all things, as God, our Father, wants us too.

Revelation 21: 8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

But, those bound to their flesh, refusing to acknowledge God above self, won’t meet the same glorious result. So, we model the love of God for others drawing them to God, and we pray for their salvation and commitment to living for God.

Hebrews 13:7 Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith.

In the natural world we, celebrate and pay homage to our Presidents and Prime Ministers with song, dance, and gifts of love.
If we can do all of this for our natural leaders, how much more should we do for our spiritual leaders?
Our spiritual leaders are the people who continue to feed us the word of God on a daily basis. These are the people who are called to watch over our souls. These are the people who have been ordained to help us understand the will of God.

Let’s celebrate our spiritual leaders. We are to let them know how much we appreciate their work in the earth. Let’s give them a gift, sing them a song, write them a letter; let’s do something to show our appreciation to them. Our spiritual leaders include anyone who has directed us in the knowledge of Truth including, grandmothers, uncles, or family friends. If they spiritually helped us in any way, show appreciation to them.

Praise God for Our Leaders

Scripture of the Day: Fear Who?

Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,
for You are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

This verse could have easily said, “I will fear evil” instead of “I will fear no evil.” To be fearful is our choice. We can have peace knowing God is with us or, be fearful (which is a form of doubt) and believe God is not with us.

We tend to place ourselves in fear with our speech. With phrases such as, “I’m afraid if I don’t” or “It scares me to think” we are destined to have fear reign in our lives.

To those who believe fear is natural or okay 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us God did not give us fear. If fear did not come from God, then fear must have come from Satan. Revelations 21:8 tells us that the “fearful” will enter the lake of fire. So, a little fear will literally kill you.
Trust God, and Be Not Afraid.

Romans 16:5a Greet also the church that meets at their house.

There are many things that neither believers nor unbelievers would do inside a church building out of respect for the ‘church.’ But, the building is not the church. In Romans, Paul refers to the church, or the people, that meet at a location. So, if there are things that we would not do at the church building, then why would we do them anywhere if we, as believers, are the church?

1 Corinthians 16:19 What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own?

So, just as we might exhibit church appropriate behavior in the building, we choose to respect the temple, or the church which are our bodies, by honoring God with our speech, conduct, and thoughts.

Inspired by Apostle K.C. Price

Isaiah 55:10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11: so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Whenever we hear a word from the Lord or read a promise of God, we rest assure it will happen.
Anytime we read a promise in God’s word, hear a word from God internally (in our spirits), or hear a word from God through an angelic messenger; we can rest assure His word will come to pass but, WE MUST BELIEVE.

There will be thoughts of unbelief or people of unbelief that will attempt to persuade us not rest in the promises of God but, we must resist ALL doubt and unbelief. We are to rest in God’s word and nothing else until we see the manifestation of His glory.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Have you ever went to a carnival or theme park where games are played and a person wins tickets? When those games are played, the better a person does at the game the more tickets they win. Even when you don’t do that well in the game, the game will usually give you a ticket for trying. When the game is over, we can trade in our tickets for a prize.

God’s rewards are similar to these games. When we make an effort to do God’s will, our labor is not in vain. God sees our efforts to go against our sinful flesh and do His will. God notes the love we give and the good we do in the earth. God sees and He will reward (Ephesians 6:8). It’s not our efforts alone that give us this reward but, it’s being made righteous through Jesus Christ that gives us our reward in full.

Even if our situation doesn’t seem pleasant, don’t quit in your good labor. Continue to live Holy and complete the work of the Lord because our reward will be received in full in the earth as well as heaven.
