Matthew 7:1 Do not judge, or you will be judged.

When most of us read this scripture, we have an understanding not to judge others, which is true. But, there’s one thing. This scripture doesn’t specify who not to judge. It simply says, don’t judge. The one thing most of us tend to overlook is we shouldn’t judge ourselves.

When we say we’re ugly, we have a bad temper, or we’re broke we’re actually judging ourselves. Not only are we judging ourselves, we’re speaking what we say into existence over our lives. Mark 11:23 says, we shall have whatever we say.

No wonder it’s so difficult for some of us to have confidence in our image, change our attitude, or increase our finances. It’s because we’re judging ourselves and speaking negatively into our lives.

Let’s stop judging ourselves. It will make our lives easier and it will make it easier not to judge others.
