Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

Those who’ve committed suicide or have contemplated committing suicide have one thing in common. They all were deceived into thinking there’s no hope. This is the biggest lie from the enemy. With God on our side, there is always hope. The problem comes when we feel unloved by God, condemned about something we’ve done wrong, and/or feel like God has turned His back on us. By entertaining those lies too often, we’ll contemplate suicide.

God is love and He will ALWAYS love us. Nothing can stop that (Rom. 8:38-39).
God has forgiven us through Jesus Christ, therefore, He’s not angry with us (Col. 2:13).
God is and will always be willing to bless us. So regardless of where we are now, it will get better (Psalm 35:27).

By believing these three things, we can look in the face of adversity, shortage, and a seemingly unwinnable situation and still believe God is able.

Romans 4:18 For Abraham, human reason for hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So numberless shall your descendants be.
