Job 22:28 You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established for you: and the light shall shine upon your ways.

We’ve been given authority to decree or declare whatever we desire that aligns itself with life and godliness. We can decree a nice house, a better job, or peace in our marriage and it shall come to pass. If we don’t say something, we won’t see something. So, whatever desire that’s in you, confidently declare it.

Now, before some get disappointed because they don’t see what they declare. Our declaration has boundaries. If we’re declaring to have $1 million so that we can shop, buy jewelry, and live extravagantly, we won’t get it. There’s nothing wrong with these things, but if that’s our only reason for an increase in wealth, we have the wrong motives (James 4:3).

Whatever you decide to decree, be sure it’s a God-given desire to ensure that you receive it.
