John 9:1 Now as Jesus was passing by, He saw a man blind from birth, 2 and His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God would be displayed in him.

When we experience difficulties, one of the first things we seem to do is question whether we’ve done something wrong. The difficulties we face can be a consequence of sin but other times, it’s so that the works of God can be displayed.

We live in a fallen world and believers are not exempt from problems, however, our problems won’t be the end of us. If we handle life’s problems properly, the works of God can be displayed.

People will see our situation, see our good attitude despite the situation, and inquire how we can remain so calm. People will see the sickness attempting to invade our bodies, but they will also see expedited healing in our bodies.

These are the times where we can share our faith in God. Our experiences can compel others to deepen their relationship with God.

Everything is not about what we did wrong. Certain things happen so that the glory of God can be revealed in and through us.
