Mark 5:39 When He came in, He said to them, “Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping.” 40 And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying.
Jesus was ridiculed because He spoke what He believed. If we walk by faith and are bold enough to declare what God said to us openly, prepare for ridicule.
God may have told us to believe for debt freedom within 3 months. If we confidently say that openly, we may get a lot of questions. They’ll want to know how it’s going to happen and if we’re sure we heard God’s voice. Others may think we have lost our minds or have gone too far in this faith stuff. Regardless of their questions and ridicule, we must hold tightly to our confession of faith (Hebrews 10:23).
No matter how far-fetched it sounds, as the Spirit leads, declare it openly. Just be prepared for possible ridicule.
