Proverbs 23:4 Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease!
We’re living in a time where “hustling” is glorified. It’s a badge of honor for people to tell us that they don’t sleep because they’re grinding, hustling, or working extra hard to get money. As we can see, working ourselves to the bone to get rich is unwise.
Sleep, rest, and spending time with God and our families is very important. Money will come and go, but rest and time is something we can never get back.
Diligently working is biblical but overworking to get rich is not beneficial. Let’s consult God as we work. If He tells us to work late or get an extra job, that means He’s graced us to do it and everything will work for the good (Romans 8:28). However, if we’re overworking ourselves to get rich, we need to reevaluate our plans.

How about “work” because that is all we know how to do…
