Every year we have a birthday. Some of us look forward to our birthdays while others could care less. Regardless of how we feel about our birthday, we expect to have a birthday.
The same way we believe and expect to have a birthday every year is the same way we should believe and expect to receive a promise from God. It doesn’t matter if it’s healing in our bodies, deliverance for our children, or a new job, we should expect our desires to come to pass. We may not know when, but we should expect to receive them.
Don’t hope and wish God’s promises will come to pass. Believe and expect them to manifest soon.
Acts 3:5 And he began to give heed to them, expecting to receive something from them.
